    ~Brady~ I mind link Coach Mabry after dropping Lindsey off. “I need to blow off steam. Think I could get into the weight room for class today?” “Sure thing. I’m letting you guys have a free day anyways. Take someone with you to spot.” He replies. Colton and Grant meet me on the way to the gym. “Why do you look like you’re about to punch a wall?” Grant asks. “Because I really want to. We’re headed to the weight room.” I lead them directly to the back of the gym by the offices. Hopefully Coach knows not to let any she wolves bother me this morning. “What happened to being sore?” Colton asks. “I’ve got to blow off steam.” I say out loud and mind link the rest, “I’ll explain once we’ve gotten some privacy.” Once we enter the weight room I mind link them the entire situation as we set up equipment.     ~Lindsey~ The morning goes by pretty quickly. Mr. Matt and Callie are disagreeing about something so I manage to get by without saying much. We gather in the courtyard with everyone else. Apparently this is the norm unless it’s raining. Deanna joins us shortly thereafter and starts talking about the pack party tonight. She invites Willow over to talk who apparently is very shy. Everything is kind of hazy; I just go through the motions, unable to shake the conflicting feelings of guilt from leaving White Fang and the desire to start over. A few minutes before the bell rings, Brady comes up to me. “Good morning sunshine. I wanted to ask if you and Callie want a ride home tonight. I knew Matt and John would be later getting home. Since you don’t normally ride the bus at that time, I thought it might help you guys out.” The guilt increases. “Thanks Brady, but you don’t have to do that.     ~Lindsey~ I wake up after crying myself to sleep again last night. I can’t stop thinking about Hunter and Jessie. If Blaine finds out that they are in contact with me, he will do anything to them to get details on me. I’m worried about Uncle Rob and Aunt Kayla, too; he could lose his position as beta. I get up to go get ready for the day. I look in the mirror and notice the bags under my eyes. I sigh. Guess I’ll have to try to cover that up today.     ~Brady~ It’s been a while since I woke up sore, but Mom didn’t play around. The omegas went home when we left for training, so whatever they didn’t get finished, we were in charge of. I’m glad I got my homework finished in class yesterday; otherwise I’d be in for it. Thankfully, since all training is cancelled for today, I got to sleep in which definitely helped my body heal.     ~Lindsey~ I turned on my phone when I got on the bus and saw a message from Hunter. “Call me when you get home.” That was it. I hope everything’s ok. If something happens to them because of me… Thankfully, Callie and Deanna are welcoming distractions. We talk about the sparring and the drama at school. I ask about people whose names I can’t remember and get the gossip on people I should stay away from.
