“Isn't that Mom?” Bryan asked with dilated eyes.

The alarming sound was more of a groan, someone was hurt, and that was Daciana.

Quickly both Dorian and Bryan set off, they strode as fast as their legs could talk them back to the hut.

When they got to the front, there was no one around, so they got inside instead. Upon entering what the both of them saw left their mouths hung open.

Daciana was shivering extremely, as though she were undergoing a severe panic attack. Her body kept on vibrating uncontrollably and her eyes turned white.

“Mom?” Bryan called out worriedly and jumped toward her, grabbed her off Ana who was holding on to her, and scooped her into his arms.

“Bryan…” she groaned weakly, barely clinging to life. Her expression was sour, and she was in immense pain.

It happened right after both Dorian and Bryan left. Out of the blue, the remnants of energy that was in her slipped away and were replaced with pain, an unsustainable one.
