Chapter 07

* Dorian's POV *

I walked into my lounge with my friends behind me.

Slumping onto the sofa, I heaved a heavy sigh and then shut my eyes.

Kaden also slumped on the next sofa to mine and then faced me.

" It's obvious Luna Daciana is here for a mission, and I don't think she's leaving soon," He said and I only hummed in response.

He suddenly sat up, settling his gaze comfortably on mine.

" You know... You could just ask her why she is here and confirm our suspicions " He said I switched my eyes open and then turned to him with a stern glare.

He looked away on seeing my stern glare on him. " It's just a suggestion " He muttered.

" Well, it's a dumb one. I can't just approach her like that, who do you think she is, just a Luna? She's the Luna of Lunas, the Alpha King's Luna. She's more powerful than we think, so avoid troubles with her for your good " I said and he nodded.

" We have to worry about the safety of that family, once they're okay. Then we can worry if Luna Daciana and her associates refused to leave " I said and they both nodded.

" I'm still wondering what the cause of their disease is " Caddel muttered.

" Yeah, we need to work on that but before then, work on getting them completely healed. The royal doctor said they are responding to treatment and would be fine soon, we should hope things go well " I said and they nodded again.

I sighed silently and then shut my eyes.

" I wanna see him "

" He ordered not to let anyone in miss "

" Let me in! "

We kept hearing those voices outside. " What's going on? " Kaden asked.

" It's Ashina. What does she want? " Caddel muttered tiredly.

" Let her in! " I mind-linked the guard and the commotion went down.

She walked in some seconds later and stood before me. I opened my eyes and then raised my brows at her quizzically.

" You're not going to stop her from making me wash her robe, huh? " She snapped with an angry face and I looked away.

" Dorian, I'm serious. I'm not going to wash her robe! " She snapped again.

" Ashina! Stop with the snaps! " Her brother cautioned her and she glared at him.

" Dorian! " She called again and I snapped my eyes open at once and she shrink but recovered from the flinch in seconds.

" Say something! I'm not going to wash her robe " She lowered her voice this time around.

" Ashina. " I called lowly as I sat up on the couch. She had her brows raised, expecting what I was about to say.

" Sadly, I don't have a say on this. She's the Alpha King's Luna and we have no choice but to do whatever she wants. You should follow her orders if you don't want any problems " I said simply.

" Dorian! It's humiliating for me to wash her robe! I'm an Omega! " She snapped and I snap my eyes at her in a glare.

" Do as she has said if you don't wanna lose your post as the Omega! And why were you in this kingdom in the first place? " I asked and she scoffed like she was surprised.

" I'm disappointed Dorian. This is my kingdom, I was born here, okay!? I can come home anytime I want okay? " She said like she was annoyed.

" Ashina, ever since you swore commitment to the other pack, you shouldn't belong here anymore but I let you 'cause of our relationship, you should respect that and not cause troubles here. Do what Luna Daciana wants you to do " I said and she let out a smile that faded in seconds.

" Yeah. You're right, I don't deserve to be an omega over there and still be here, I understand Alpha Dorian " She said and then marched out angrily and I sighed silently.

She only calls me *Alpha Dorian* when she's angry. I'mma tend to her later but right now, I need to settle some things.

The fact that Alpha King Elvin is involved in the case of that family affected by the disease is bothering me.

Well, I found out it isn't an easy case since the cause of the disease is still unknown to the farmland ly is getting better, but I don't want him concerned with it.

It's like a blow to my reputation. I can handle this on my own but he got his Luna involved already and if I don't find a solution to this as soon as possible and he/his Luna gets involved in it, it's a blow to my reputation, I can't afford that.

That's a great bother.

But.. Luna Daciana.

" You care to tell us what's bothering you? " Caddel broke me out of my thoughts and I twisted my head to his and then looked away.

" Have I been sighing out loud? " I asked with a light chuckle and he nodded.

" It's.. that strange disease. I'm greatly bothered. It won't take long before our rival kingdoms start going around with the rumor that our kingdom is helpless and powerless and that we had to request the Alpha King's help. That would be a great blow to our reputation, that's bothering me " I said simply.

" Maybe we should ask for Luna Daciana's help then, " Kaden said and I turned to him with a confused brow.

" Excuse me? I just said that would.. "

" I know. At least the affected family would be okay, that is what matters, right? I mean we care about our villager's priority, we shouldn't care about what others say and it could be a little secret between us and Luna Daciana, not like anyone would find out " He explained and I stared on, partially confused.

" But what makes you think Luna Daciana wouldn't want something in return? " Caddel asked Kaden with a raised brow and I turned to him.
