Chapter 37

I never thought I’d see Brody cry, but as he looked over his prized Porsche, I swore I saw a tear in his eye. He took a deep breath, his hands shaking in anger slightly; his eyes not moving off his car. It was taking all my willpower not to snigger.

The car was trashed. Scratches, dents and scrapes covered the paintwork of the car, and the bummer was hanging off at an odd angle as well as every window being smashed. To say Roderick and I had destroyed his car would have been an understatement. As soon as I told my brother what had happened he went crazy; thus the car.

“I…you…huh?” Brody muttered to himself, his eyes not being able to leave the car. I looked behind where we stood – just outside the pack house – to see half the pack were watching with nervous expressions. They thought Brody was going to flip. I did too. In fact, I was waiting for it.
