Chapter 41

A week later both packs knew of the upcoming merger; some were happy, some were not. A lot of Aplin Moon members were opposed – not because they had anything against Brody and I, but simply because they didn’t want to move.

Brody had decided – as the new owner of Aplin Moon’s territory – to sell the area and buy more land near us, extending our land for the new members. He had been busy talking to builders and contractors to build another three pack houses and another pack village. Brody had extremely under estimated just how big our pack would become with the merger.

I had been without my mate for a week and it was killing me. I was; emotional, lonely, constantly on edge and incredibly sexually frustrated. Brody and I had talked twice a day, but it was still not enough to settle either of our wolves. He was a lot more on edge than me, what with all the stress he was on, and everything seemed to agitate him.

So when Thursday rolled around and Charlie returned to the pack, I packed up
