“I know why I’m mad at you, but why are you mad at you?” I bravely asked.

“Because I let my anger get the better of me. You seem to have this effect on me. You not only bring out the best in me, but also the worst. When I am around you I am; loving, caring and affectionate. But I am also; jealous, possessive and domineering”.

“Don’t forget horny” I mumbled.

“Yes and horny” Brody chuckled quietly. “But it can flip from one to the other” he sighed, heavily turning onto his side so he was facing me. I mirrored his movements so I was staring into his beautiful brown eyes. “Allison, I’m not a mind reader. If you are upset about something or angry about something you need to tell me. I won’t know if you don’t tell me”.

“I love you” I blurted out, “but at the same time I also kind of want to punch you most of the time”.

“Believe me the feeling is mutual Baby” he replied and an involuntary chuckle escaped my lips. “Can I ask you a question and you not freak out and we end up fighting again?”
