Chapter 8

I rolled my eyes as I saw Mason leant against my locker with a sour look on his face. As soon as he caught my scent his head snapped in my direction. He sighed and an easy smile fell onto his face. He pulled me into a tight hug as soon as I reached him.

"I missed you" he mumbled as he rested his chin on the top of my head. I chuckled as I cuddled closer into him. Mason and I may have only spent one night apart, but we had never done that before. Ever before we went rogue I used to sneak into Mason's room to sleep because I didn't want to be by myself.

I hadn't really thought that much about Mason last night, Brody kept me distracted. But as soon as I woke up I felt his absence. I excepted to see his moody morning glare, but instead I got a toothy grin from Brody. I wasn't complaining I loved the way Brody smiled and kissed me good morning, but I did miss my grumpy twin.
