Chapter 7

I whimpered as he pulled away and he put his hands on my hips to stop me grinding into him. "Mine" he said, his eyes were black as I'm sure mine were. Both of our wolves worked up and wanted to mate. I tried to kiss him again, but he moved away. "Stop, no more" he whispered as we both caught our breaths.

I began to feel rejected, knowing that it was too good to be true. He didn't enjoy it like I had. He wanted to stop because he thought it would be better. I shouldn't have been surprised. I wasn't skilled like all the other girls he's been with, I was a pathetic excuse for a mate. I knew that I shouldn't have been surprised.

"Baby what's wrong?" Brody demanded, slipping his hand under my chin and forcing me to look into his eyes; they had returned to their chocolate brown colour. The colour that I loved so much.
