Chapter 29

The next few days went by agonizingly slow.

I was depressed about the fact that Colton was betraying me, but I wasn’t showing it to anybody. Andy had noticed a difference in me, but I had managed to block my emotions out so he couldn’t get a good read. I knew that I should be telling them about Colton, but I couldn’t help but hold a little hope that I was wrong.

Little did I know that had I told somebody a life wouldn’t have been lost.

Colton kept up his act and was still pretending to be my bestie. I had yet to call him out on it, but I planned to tonight. I had no idea how to even approach the subject, but I knew that it had to be done. I couldn’t go around living with and being friends with a liar.
