~Lina
"You all have a test tomorrow", Mr Stewart stated proudly as everyone including me sighed. His tests were always popping up when we least expect them.
"Shit, I was hoping to watch the rematch of Germany and Brazil today. Guess not because I have to study", Avan say before releasing a groan. He was so obsessed with football for whatever reason. I didn't like it much because I always get bored whenever I tried to watch it.
"You're so crazy about football yet you aren't a part of the academy's football team", Kailee stated as she looked at him. I always wondered why he didn't join the team. He was the goal keeper back in high school for his team and he was pretty good at it. He was the only reason I went to the matches because I wanted to support him.
"I just didn't want to join it, besides their team already has some good players. You should've seen the match last month, it was insane", he replied as I remembered the match he was begging me to go. As expected, I didn't. The thing about me is that if I don't feel the thrill to go somewhere, I will never leave my home.
I heard some laughter and I looked to my left where the gang was. When I arrived at school this morning I thought there was going to be some altercation because of what happened the other day. Surprisingly, Avan and I walked past them without any problems. I was thankful because I didn't want him to get hurt.
Zyair's eyes met mine and I quickly turned away. I've been on the edge lately because of how he approached me and then pulled my body unto his. Which normal person would do that? But then again he wasn't normal. He was a shape shifting creature with sharp teeth and claws.
Just like the Alpha.
My body somewhat started heating up when he crossed my mind. I chewed on my bottom lip when I remembered how his hands caught me before I fell. It was one of those moments where time literally stopped and no one else existed but us. It was weird and shocking. What was even more weird was how he placed his head on mine and stared into my eyes. That wasn't some normal behaviour. I just didn't know what it meant.
"Earth to Lina"
I was brought back by a finger snapping across my face. I realized that the bell has rang and the class was empty aside from the three of us. I stood up and packed up my things before putting on my bag.
"I wonder what had you so caught up in your thoughts. Let me guess, Mr. Big Bad Alpha", Avan said as I groaned wanting to punch him for bringing that back up.
"What does he mean?", Kailee asked as I remembered that I haven't told her anything about what happened.
"I'll tell you after school", I replied as she nod slowly. She was eager to know but not now. The place wasn't quiet and even the lockers had ears. Can't be too sure of what you say and where you say it.
After collecting our food we took our seat and started eating. I went on my phone and started scrolling through i***a. I started watching a video but didn't get to finish as someone was harshly thrown on our table. I shrieked as we all got up seeing that a fight was going on.
Avan pushed me behind him as the two guys started growling at each other. I didn't even know what started it. I realized that they were from the gang and I knew things were going to get really messy. We all stayed back except the gang who refused to part their members. Zyair was still sitting on his phone unbelievably despite all that was happening.
"This is bad", Kailee say as the guys started stripping their clothes. Their eyes had changed color and their bones started breaking.
Oh god! They were shifting!.
I looked at the lunch section but none of the cooks were present. I stayed behind Avan as the guys shifted completely revealing two large brown wolves. I've never seen their transformation and even thou it was scary it still fascinated me.
"Everyone out, NOW!", someone said as eveyone started rushing out. Avan took my hand and pulled me away along with everyone else. We all made our way out of the building onto the grass. Despite everything that was happening I could hear lots of growls and the sound of items getting damaged. The crowd was murmering amongst themselves about the unfortunate event.
"Well, no more school for the rest of the week. It's gonna take days to replace and clean up the cafeteria", Kailee said before we saw the academy's principal heading our way. He was tall and had a nice bundle of hair. He seemed more of a guitarist than a principal to me. But that's just me.
"Students listen up! They're won't be anymore classes for the rest of the day or the week unfortunately. You will return on Monday. Please go home and finish up your assignments!".
There were alot of excitement from most students because of what the principal said. I knew he was angry about the situation but what could he do? This wasn't one of those fights that you can get in between and not get hurt. Well there was no more school so that meant I could visit grandma and spend a few days with her.
>>>
"So I'm planning to visit grandma tomorrow since there's no more school. I'm sure she will be happy to see me", I stated to my parents as we sat around the table having our dinner.
"That's actually really good. I'll call to let her know that you and Avan will be visiting", my mom replied as I heard a groan coming from Avan. He loved his grandma but she was old schooled so that meant she didn't have cable or N*****x. Avan always complained about how he was bored and he couldn't wait to go home.
I on the other hand enjoyed being at her home. She lived closed to the woods which had a small lake that I would spend most of my time relaxing at. Her board games were fun especially scrabble which I always manage to beat Avan at.
After I finished eating I washed my dish before heading up to my room. When I was halfway upstairs I heard my dad calling me and I stopped and turned back.
"Yes dad, is everything alright?", I asked when I reached the bottom step.
"I should be asking you. How are you feeling about what happened the other day?".
"I'm ok dad, I didn't mean to tresspass on their property and I promise it will never happen again", I say as he nod slowly.
"Ok, you can go to bed now. Sleep well princess", he said before kissing me on the head. I smiled before I turned and went to my room. After closing the door I went to my window and peered into the woods. There wasn't a full moon tonight so the place wasn't as bright.
I was about to close the window but I paused when I saw somewhat of a figure lurking in the woods. I couldn't make out exactly what I was seeing or was it just a shadow from a tree. I didn't think anyone would be watching me and if they were, what would be the reason? I shook my head feeling paranoid before I closed the window and draw the curtains.
I hopped under my covers and held the pillow close to my chest. All of a sudden there was a loud scream coming from outside. It was so loud that I knew it had woken up everyone. My heart started racing as I dashed from my room. I met Avan on the way who was shocked as me as we hurried downstairs.
Dad was already there with mom gripping onto his shirt. There was another scream and I felt my heart sink a bit. I was beyond scared of whatever was happening out there. It sounded like someone needed help but from what?!.
"Avan hold your mom, I'm going to get my gun", my dad said as mind froze.
What the hell was happening!?
~Alpha Mykel"I don't know when I'll see her again", I stated to my father as I glared at my reflection in the mirror. I have waited for years to find her and I did and now she was gone. My wolf wanted to take over and claim her but I held back. It wasn't the right time. It's been 2 days now since our first encounter and I wanted her in my arms more than anything. I knew she had no idea who I really was to her but I knew she felt the pull. She was beyond beautiful and she was mine. If only it was that simple I would search for her and take her back and never let her go. But I wasn't a psychopath and I always say that things take time. It was really dangerous for her to wander on our territory especially at nights. She claimed she wanted to help a mother wolf which was quite heart warming. The mother wolf was mated to an Alpha but he was abusing her so she ran away with their son. My expression was deadly when she was telling me the story because their was nothing more fucked up than
~LinaI woke up with a throbbing headache. It was a long night and I only got to sleep for a few hours. This was too much to handle. Why were so much things happening in one single week!?. I knew there were wolves but now lycans also existed. It was terrifying and I can't remove the image from my head. The size of it, the way it growled and was ready to come after us. I felt traumatized. After my dad spoke to the Alpha we went inside and head to bed. I saw him again. There was something puzzling going on. When I saw him my body heated up and I felt this pull towards him. I didn't know why. I needed answers but to what? This just doesn't make any sense to me. It felt like we were connected but why?If it wasn't for him, last night we definitely would've become lycan meat. But I'm glad that my father helped that girl even though I sensed something strange about her. I mean, what person would be out in the woods at that time of the night? I was suprised to see her actually obeyed the A
"My babies!".I smiled widely as grandma engulfed both of us in a tight, warm hug. I really did miss her. "We're not babies anymore grandma", Avan said jokingly before we pulled away. The place was still the same as I remembered. The beautiful flowers, the neatly trimmed bushes and ofcourse, the super fresh air. There was just something about Grandma's place that felt comforting."Let's go inside, I redecorated your rooms for you", she said as I heard the slamming of the car trunk behind me. Clyde had taken our bags from the trunk and was carrying them inside the house. I still couldn't get over the fact that he wasn't human. I didn't know if I should ask him about it or let it be. Knowing myself I always wanted to find out more. Was he a wolf and if not, what was he? And if he was a wolf why wasn't he with his pack? I was too curious for my own good but I needed answers. And I was going to get them."Wow, the place really looks different", Avan stated as we entered the house. Grand
~Alpha MykelMy entire office was a raging mess. I couldn't handle the urge and it was driving me fucking crazy. My wolf was restless. We both wanted our mate. Back then when I was mateless I use to have this crave but it wasn't so uncontrollable. I could handle a full moon but that was then. Now, I wanted her in my arms and I wanted to mark her as mine. I growled as I ripped the paintings off the wall. Some unmated wolves satisfy their crave by mating with other unmated wolves but I wasn't one of them. It was only my mate that I wanted and no one else. Only she could satisfy and calm me down. I clenched my fists as I thought about the fact that she wasn't close to me. I went to her house a few days back but she wasn't there. Her scent was long gone. For female wolves they usually feel the crave a few days before the full moon. But my mate was Luna and that meant it was going to be more painful. I could sense that she was in pain especially right now. I heard the door open but I di
~A Few Days Later~~LinaWhy did I have a feeling something bad was going to happen today? But then again, what could be worst than the pain I felt for up to three days straight?. It wasn't even my period because it already came earlier in the month. I was even more confused about what Clyde had said. What did the Alpha have to do with this? I've been on the edge just by that statement alone. He refused to tell me what I needed to know for whatever reason.Back at Grandma's I spent all those three days in bed wondering when the pain was going to end. It eventually stopped late Saturday night but I still felt uneasy. Clyde barely spoke to me those times and to be honest that didn't bother me at all. If he didn't want to tell me what I needed to know it made no sense he exchanged words with me. I decided to sit way at the back of history class today. Mr. Ambrose was our professor and the topic for today was quite intriguing. We were going to learn about supernatural creatures. Maybe af
~I sat at my window just looking out into the dark abyss. I had been in my room since I came home. After what happening at school my mind was in a mixture of emotions. I did some research about mates but I still didn't understand. I needed someone to really explain to me what I needed to know. Why was I mated to an Alpha and what did that mean for me? I had refused to talk to anyone since I got home including Avan. He was eager to know what happened in the classroom but I didn't want to talk. I didn't even went down for dinner no matter how much my dad forced me. I only wanted to talk to someone who would tell me what I needed to know. There was a knock and I slowly got up and went towards the door. I opened it and my mom was standing there looking really worried."Lina, I know you're not ok but please talk to me. I can't have you like this, you haven't even eaten since you got home. I'm your mother and I'm the best person to talk to".I sighed as I stepped aside so she could come i
~"You're going to leave me alone?", Kailee asked as her eyes evolved from her head."It's only for a few minutes, I need answers, just relax I'll be back soon", I replied as she looked at me unbelievably. Mykel said it was best if we talked alone and he was currently waiting for me at the stairs. "Fine, but I won't forgive you for this", she stated before taking a seat on the black leather couch. I smiled apologetically at her before going up to him.He looked at me deeply for a few seconds before holding out his hand. I looked at it for a while before taking it. I followed him up the stairs as I tried to ignore how soft and gentle his hands felt. It was a great contrast to his muscular size.I passed some persons on the way who were eyeing me intensely. I gripped Mykel's hand tigher before a growl came from him. They averted their eyes and continued on their way. He was really an Alpha. He stopped infront of a large door and opened it. I sighed deeply before entering. It was his r
~"Have you made up your mind as yet?""No I haven't".Kailee looked at me as I placed my head on the desk. Since I learned the truth about what mates were my mind was in different state. I hardly had any focus or concentration. I was torn between rejecting Mykel or becoming the pack's Luna. I was just a normal girl, I didn't ask for any of this. Life does really throw suprises at you."So what if you chose to be his Luna, what does that mean for you?", she asked as I relased a groan. I was feeling really stressed.I haven't really spoken to my parents since that day because they knew what was happening to me and they didn't tell me, I had to go and get the answers myself. As for Avan I've only exchanged a few words with him. He said he didn't like the situation but he had no choice in this. It was all up to me."I'm not sure, maybe I would have to quit school and dedicate all my time to leading a pack. I will also have to produce kids and an heir to the pack", I replied as I started
