Chapter Seven

"My babies!".

I smiled widely as grandma engulfed both of us in a tight, warm hug. I really did miss her.

"We're not babies anymore grandma", Avan said jokingly before we pulled away. The place was still the same as I remembered. The beautiful flowers, the neatly trimmed bushes and ofcourse, the super fresh air. There was just something about Grandma's place that felt comforting.

"Let's go inside, I redecorated your rooms for you", she said as I heard the slamming of the car trunk behind me. Clyde had taken our bags from the trunk and was carrying them inside the house. I still couldn't get over the fact that he wasn't human. I didn't know if I should ask him about it or let it be.

Knowing myself I always wanted to find out more. Was he a wolf and if not, what was he? And if he was a wolf why wasn't he with his pack? I was too curious for my own good but I needed answers. And I was going to get them.

"Wow, the place really looks different", Avan stated as we entered the house. Grand
