Chapter Thirty Eight

"I don't hear anything", Quinn said as he placed his ear at the door and listened. The place was dead silent. This part of the shop wasn't really easy to find but they should've found us by now.

"Me either, they're searching for us", I replied as I stood up from my position. I've tried contacting Mykel through the link once more but I couldn't. I didn't get why it wasn't working but all I hoped for was that he gets here soon.
