Chapter 25

SCOTT POV

"Nice to meet you, Luna," Amanda says respectfully, and Lisa jerks her head in my direction. 

"Scott, we had an agreement. NO WOLVES. WOLVES HAVE MATES," Lisa yells while throwing her hands up in the air. 

Lisa is not scared of confrontation in the slightest, and poor Amanda's face is bright red. 

"LIS. Calm down. Let me talk before..," I start to say, but Amanda cuts me off. 

"Luna, please. I am a rejected wolf. I have no mate. Scott was aware of this, and ... that's why I'm here," Amanda jumps in, saving my butt. 

Lisa's face crumbles.

"Oh. Um, I'm so sorry. You two enjoy your evening," Lisa says as she escapes to the kitchen to grab her after gym protein-packed dinner. 

She then scurries towards her bedroom while giving us a small apologetic smile. 

"Sorry, Lisa is not shy about expressing herself," I say, looking at Amanda.
