ONE MONTH LATER
MOIRA POV
Time has flown by. Lisa moved most of her stuff here a few weeks ago, and the new homes are complete.
Lisa and Scott started the new location for Twin Construction last week, and it looks good so far. It is the closest building we have to the front gate. Scott thought it would be better for any visiting human employee or human customer if the shop were close to the border.
Scott has avoided me like the plague since the day he choked. Lisa still spends two hrs every day with me in the gym, and I love it. Mike and I go to counseling every Wednesday, and Lisa meets us at the gym for our emotional training afterward. Those are the sessions I hate the most. Lisa targets my insecurities and my lack of progress with Scott. But she has helped me build up a wall of protection for my heart.
