MOIRA POV
After Clint and Mike drag David's body away, I head back home. I can't believe we lost pack members over something so dumb. So what if Lisa had been full human? She was the strongest female I have ever seen.
The way the pack reacted to her challenge was proof enough. She was not to be messed with. I unlock the front door and take a big whiff of the house before going inside. You can never be too cautious, in my opinion. Emmett, Lisa, Mike, and I are the only scents I catch, so I quickly head inside.
The images of David's skin splitting apart are making me sick. I need to make some lunch for the others and find a quiet corner. My current historical romance is calling my name.
