I was frozen in terror as the stranger, dressed in a doctor's coat, approached me with a syringe in hand.

I was sure it was laced with something that would harm me and my baby.

Immediately my heart was racing, and I couldn't breathe.

“How did he get in here? Was he really a doctor or is that some kind of disguise?”

“If I shout right now, wouldn't he still hurt me and preya even?” Many thoughts ran through my head but I couldn’t bring myself to do anything, because as I tried to move, to scream, my body seemed to be paralyzed with fear.

The fake doctor smiled, his eyes cold and calculating, as he reached out to grab my arm.

Just as he was about to inject me, the door instantly burst open, and Alpha Luciano walked in.

Immediately, I felt a wave of relief wash over me, for once I was grateful for his timely presence and intervention, but I couldn’t help but be confused. .
