Chp 10 Pt. 2 Attack On The Pack

When I come out from the tree I stare at my mate for a moment. She is sitting on a log looking at the view over the falls. The moonlight is shining down on her and it gives her skin a glowing appearance. She really does look like an angel at that moment. Max and Shaun stay in their wolf forms and lay down near the log as I walk up to her and straddle the log, pulling her close to me.

“I win,” she teases while giving me a peak on the lips, making me chuckle. She leans against my chest as we take in the view. Several other wolves have arrived, some shifted, some didn’t. Fires are being built and I see everything needed to make s’mores are hidden in a log.

“Have you ever had a s’more?”

“I’ve heard they are delicious, but no.”
