Chapter 31 One week down many to go

It was a glorious Friday morning; I woke up in a great mood with the sun shining bright and a warm breeze coming through my window. I hopped out of bed and took a quick shower and got ready for school. I bounced downstairs to find both my parents had already gone to work. I shot Abby a quick text.

Hey! I am ready whenever you get here! – Trixie

I hit send and checked my backpack for the essay I had to write on my leadership quote and what it meant to me. I totally saw that one coming. It only had to be three paragraphs, but I ended up cranking out about five. I feel like it was going to be an easy A; and it turns out the leadership and development class was quickly becoming my favorite one over the last week. DING! My phone went off.
