Sixty Three

Hera's POV

We finally arrive at the final outskirts of the Bluemoon pack after walking for almost two hours and I believe that I don't have to pretend about how I am anymore because I'm actually weak and tired all over from the long distance that we just covered.

We begin to hear footsteps as we approach the large gates and soon, there are up to six guards holding their guns toward us while stopping us from going past. Reece moves to face them and fights them off if they try to attack us but I quickly hold him by the wrist to pull him back because this place isn't the same as the pack we just left. They would kill him without giving him a chance to speak.

He looks at me and I just subtly nod so he gets me and he stands beside me without a word, waiting for me to take the next step now.

“I'm here to see the Alpha, I was sent on a mission and I'm back now,” I tell them but they don't budge. Seriously, are this man’s guards made of stone?
