LISA'S POV
I stare at him with my mouth wide open. My mouth remains open as he stands up and heads over to place an order, the menu list in his hand.
The villain of the story
I didn't believe it but did he have any reason to lie to me? If what he had said was true, that means he would be the worst villain ever recorded in history by a mile. He could also pass for being a pathetic villain too.
Naturally, from the little I know, Jonas is far from Pathetic. But if he were the villain of our unpredictable story, why would he save my life? Not once or twice, I stopped counting at three. Or was there a fourth time? Since I was dirt poor to afford a television, I had relied upon comics books to give me the same thrill and I had never read about a villain who acted the same way Jonas was. He even killed someone affiliated with the Council for my sake.

LISA'S POVThat night as I lay down in bed, I pull the covers of the bedsheet up past my shoulders and bury my head deeper into the pillow to get a little bit of warmth. The motel room is freezing. The air conditioners in the room were really working effectively. Extremely well in fact. I was guessing Jonas had something to do with it, the motel room wasn't as cold as this yesterday.All the same, I was grateful. I look out the window, the moon was shining brightly tonight, I hope it was a sign of something good. I tried to guess the time without looking at the clock chiming adjacent to my bed. Lisa's POV I lower myself onto the bed, still reeling from what had just transpired. I can't believe it. The Prime Alpha had been in my room. Jonas was part of the Council. It was too much for me to take in all at once.

LISA's POVOne hour later, we check out of the motel and drive to the nearest mall, located on the outskirts of the town. There was a large number of people trooping in and out of the mall. We had to roam around for a while before we found a parking spot a few blocks away from the mall.As soon as we entered through the main building, I quickly concluded that the crowd here was twice the number of people living in the town alone. There was barely enough space to move an inch. I took a step forward, and a woman slammed into me unapologetically. I move to the side, trying to get close to Jonas, and I get stopped by a man carrying an outrageous number of shopping bags. LISA'S POVDepending on the person, a fancy dress can make one feel more or less confident. For me, I was stuck in the middle, undecided on how I felt at the moment. I stare at my face in the mirror, I was confused about what to do to my face. I've never used makeup before and I had been too ashamed to admit it to Jonas.The makeup kit I bought yesterday at the mall stares back at me.
