Making her pack has started her abilities to start coming thru. I think the knew it would make the binding weaker. She has said in other chapters she hears a voice sometimes that’s not her own. I kinda think that her parents were hiding her in some way. That they denounced a pack so she was never pack before. And the reason her aunt wouldn’t make her pack is it awakens abilities. I’m not sure she’s not a wolf. And maybe had a binding spell to lock her wolf down.
