A Marriage for peace

Nyx POV

The scent of wolves choked the air, it was thick and suffocating that i feIt the urge to vomit it reeked of damp earth,and raw power, and a urge, something that made my fangs itch to pierce through their flesh and watch as their die a painful death.

Won't that be amazing....

I was on my way to the grand hall, for the so called wedding

So called peace treaty

I have been trying to explain to my mother, there is no such things as peace between werewolves and vampires, we were created to destroy each other not to love...

But the elders ordered for the wedding so there shall be peace, so we don't have a choice but to play along, until we can find a way to completely eliminate the wolves.

There are seven elders, their are nor werewolf nor vampire, but are very powerful, there are the messengers of the moon goddess.

The door of the grand hall opened and the scent of wolves became stronger making me feel more nauseous....

If only I could eliminate all of them from the face of earth....

I stopped in my tracks just when i stepped into the grand hall, my Red gown was spread on the floor around my feet like spills of blood.

Everyone's attention turned to me, I could feel the piercing and hateful gazes from the werewolves.

I am sure as hell there want to tear me apart, not only me all the vampires that exist. They want to wipe us out as badly as we want to wipe them out.

But I don't really blame them for feeling that way, cause we also feel that way, and it's because we were meant to destroy each other. 

So that's what we should be doing right now, tearing each other apart not marrying each other, for some so called peace that will obviously never exist.

 The Hall was decorated, even though it was a wedding the hall looked like a funeral is about to take place.

 despite the golden chandeliers and beautifully decorated walls, the scent of my enemies tainted it all, the werewolves.

A growl of anger layed low in my throat as I scanned the hall but I swallowed it down. 

This was the price of peace we all pretend we want.

 A marriage.

 A bond forged in hatred.

A fake harmony.

I sighed angrily when my eyes landed on him.

He was standing at the center of the hall, where the priest was also standing.

Alpha Raiden Blackwood.

He has a long black hair, his eyes were golden colour, and he has a sharp jawline, that made his facial features make him look more serious and dangerous.

He was also looking at me, but his eyes were dark and unreadable, his expression was also unreadable.

He was just standing there looking at me with a expression I don't fucking understand.

I started walking towards him wanting to get this done and over with.

I slowly studied his futures, thats the first thing a predator does.

He was taller than I expected, he was masculine and well build, his golden eyes were burning with fury.

The fury of a caged beast.

I stopped in front of him and stared directly into his eyes, and this time I could read the way he looked at me.

 He looked at me like I was dirt beneath his shoes.

 like he would chose to tear out my throat a million times than to even hold my hand.

I felt a relief knowing the feeling was mutual.

But this wasn’t about feelings anymore.

it was about power.

And I have no intention of surrendering mine.

I am the predator

And he is the prey.

That I would make sure of.

We were still looking into each others eyes daringly.

The tension in the room was quite obvious, but no one could do anything about it.

About the urge to tear apart the enemies.

We all wish this will just turn into a battle ground so we can satisfy out thirst of blood and tearing the enemies apart.

The high priest seemed to have noticed the tension in the room so he stepped forward immediately, and started speaking his voice echoing through the silent hall.

"Tonight, the war and bloodshed between the vampires and the werewolves ends"

"Tonight, two powerful ancient bloodlines unite As one"

"May the goddess of the moon bear witness."

I think he means the real war is about to begin cause this is certainly the beginning of the bloodshed, vampires and werewolves can never unite as one.

The high priest took a silver knife and handed it to me I placed in my palm. I slowly ran my fingers along the blade,

Before i pressed it into my fresh welcoming the sharp pain as it kissed my skin.

I watched My blood drip onto the ceremonial stone, as a powerful ancient magic awakened in the air.

I was supposed to past the silver sword to him, but instead I gave it to the priest, I wanted to annoy him, but when I looked at him his expression was hard and unreadable.

The priest handed him the sword, he took it and placed it on his palm, before he cut it, he slowly moved his hand to the ceremonial stone as the blood dropped on it.

 When his blood mixed with mine, a spark of power crackled between us, it was painful dark and inescapable, I bit my lower lip as the pain became unbearable.

Vampire and werewolf blood aren't supposed to be mixed but it was too late The bond was already forged...

The hall fell more silent than before not even breathing sounds could be heard.

Its quite obvious no one wants this bond.

"Don't expect love from me vampire" Raidens cold, dark, intimidating voice cut through the silence like a sharp blade.

I smiled before I stepped closer to him my lips placed on the shell of his ear, before i said "Who said I wanted your love, Alpha?"

I felt how his jaw tightened, 

And his body firm like a predator ready to strike.

Raiden POV

The moment her blood touched mine, I felt the curse take hold, I could feel a sharp pain through my body, but I kept my calm demeanor as if I am not feeling anything.

I could see her struggling from her face, and that sort of gave me a feeling of victory.

This bond was not ordinary.

 It wasn’t a mate mark, 

It was not a simple contract between our kingdoms and kinds. 

 It was a spell, a forbidden spell.

Its far older than all of us. 

The moment our blood mixed, our fates were sealed for enternity.

The thought of that enough makes my pulse twitch.

Her scent was everywhere around me, rich and deathly.

It's laced with something dangerous.

Very dangerous.

 Power, Temptation and Death.

I clenched my fists as she smirked at me while she steps back.

She was daring me to snap,

She wants me to lose control. 

And i will fulfill her wish but Not tonight, little vampire.

The elders started chanting some spells the final words of the ritual.

 Their voices were weaving magic into the air, throughout the hall.

 The bond pulsed between us,

As thick as iron chains.

Binding us together.

And Then, it was done.

The marriage was over

The war was over, or so everyone wants to believe.

The marriage sealed us together. 

And I was bind to my greatest enemy.

A vampire

She turned and face the crowd, with her voice smooth and seductive she said"Shall the celebration begin, my love?" She handed me her hand.

My lips curled in anger and my eyes filled with disgust as I looked at her hand.

but I had to play along I don't want the first fight to be cause by the wolves.

I took her delicate hand in mine. 

It was colder, deadly cold, yet her touch burned my skin like flames of fire.

"We shall princess," I bit out trying to his my anger.

The hall erupted in cheers...

but beneath the fake cheers, I heard the whispers, the urge to eliminate all the enemies, the anger beneath the fake smiles.

 The Alpha of the crimson pack is now bound to a vampire...

 The Blackwood bloodline is now tainted.

 The wolves want to fight back but we won't atyack first.

We have to show tge elders that the vampires started the fight so we can wipe them out completely.

Only one of us can live in this world.

One was created to wipe out the other.

And we will certainly be the one's to wipe them out, we are stronger.

And as for Nyx...

She would regret the day she was born into this cruel world and the day she agreed to became my bride.

Nyx POV

The moment the wedding ceremony ended.

 I was taken to my new chamber. 

"The Alpha’s chambers".

 I watched as the massive doors slammed shut behind me.

I sighed before i turned before I could comprehend anything Raiden was on me.

"You think this is a game don't you vampire?" He questions his voice was a low growl.

His hands were slammed against the door on either side of me...

Caging me in.

His eyes were burning with anger, as he glared at me.

I tilted my head a little, to meet his glare.

I looked back into his eyes without fear. "Isn’t it Alpha?" I said as I placed my hand seductively on his chest,

He growled angrily.

His breath was hot against my skin.

 his scent was driving Me crazy. 

"This bond doesn’t change anything" "You’re still a vampire" You’re still My enemy." He said angrily.

I smiled, knowing it did be easy to get him to attack first.

To get him to break the treaty first.

"And yet, here we are Alpha," I murmured, as I start running my finger down his chest. 

His body tensed at my sudden movement. "Married. Bound. Together." I continued saying as my eyes landed on his neck, and all I could think of is sinking my fangs into his pulse, I licked my lips as I start to think how sweet his blood will be.

He smirked before he said "That changes nothing vampire" "and stop dreaming about sinking your fangs into my neck cause that will never happen".

 I wad taken aback by how he could read my mind but I leaned in, my lips just a inch away from his. "Are you sure about that Alpha?"

His golden eyes darkened, something dangerous Lure in it.

 And For a second

just a second

I thought he will close the distance.

 claim me.

mark me as his.

But Then, he quickly, stepped away from me.

 his chest rising and falling with fury.
