Pervert

I groaned, fighting to keep my eyes open even though it felt like I had rocks on them.

“Hey” I heard an unfamiliar voice, jolting me awake.

I looked around. I was in my living room, the door widely opened. I looked around further, trying to see how the fuck I got here.

The last I remembered…

Then it hit me. The insults, the revenge I was ready to abandon.

“Are you okay?” I practically jumped to my feet at that point, looking at the weird man.

“Alpha….  Ronan??” I said in a low voice, trying to remember his name. He nodded, standing up to take a step closer to him.

“Ronan…. just Ronan is fine” He said, holding me by the arm.

His touch was gentle, like he did not want to hurt me. “You should  be lying down” His worried voiced waxed through the air tingling my ear in the best way possible. I snapped my hands from his, looking at him with annoyance that I did not bother hiding.

“I begged you not to ruin things.” He looked at me like I was the craziest person on the planet.

“Excuse me?” he blinked, still setting me down, despite my protests.

“You should have stayed” I felt my tears fall before I could even stop myself.

I failed.

My parents revenge, my revenge! Everything was disrupted because of him.

He sighed, looking at a loss for words. “I don’t understand” He said, but I was already moving to leave.

I needed to get him out of here and restrategize. Whatever had come over me to abandon my revenge was gone. Now? I was only going to intensify efforts.

“Please don’t walk out on me, I am…” He held me by my shoulder, wanting to pull me back but it hurt.

The tears blurred my eyes, threatening to take me out from the massive pain that hit me.

I screamed. My knees buckling under me as I was blinded by the pain.

“Fuck” He muttered, picking me up. “I am sorry.. I am sorry, I just…” He tugged at his hair, mumbling things that I could not quite hear as I groaned in pain.

“What the fuck did you do to me” I snarled, my hands going to my neck.

His eyes widened as he moved to stop me but it was already too late. Another wave of pain washed through my body. This time worse than the last.

When the pain subsided, I could barely breathe. I looked at him, the tears in my eyes.

“You were forcefully marked” The said, causing the words I wanted to say to die on my tongue. "Your body is fighting but,….” He took in a deep breath before shaking his head.

I felt  my heart beat faster.

“What?” I said in a small voice, looking at the man like he had told me that the world was going to end. Although at this point, he could have told me that and I would have felt much more relieved than this.

I was not meant to have been marked within the four hours I had done the spell, and I did. I closed my eyes, taking in deep breaths that did nothing to settle the fear I felt.

It was over. I had somehow managed to do the reverse of what I had planned to do from the start.

I stood up again, pacing back and forth while he watched me.

It was his turn to watch me pace. “No” I said, looking at him, hoping that he would tell me that he was just joking or something, but his face sat emotionless, looking at me like he was just seeing me for the first time “Please, tell me you are joking” I begged with desperate eyes. “Tell me that this is just a joke and that…” I sighed, the confused look on his face told me that he in fact  did not know what was going on.

“It is not a big deal.” Hee said, his voice calm, a very sharp contrast of what I was feeling on the inside.

“it’s…”

“I will go back to my pack first thing in the morning, and I would get someone who would help..” I looked at him, wanting to throw myself at his feet and tell him how much he was a lifesaver. I would have loved to take you along, but it would only slow me down since you are not strong enough.”

I nodded, understanding completely what he meant.

I still panicked.

What if the person was not able to loosen the bond? What if I was bound to that bastard forever? What if…’

His hands touched the crease of my brows, massaging it in circles “You are thinking too much, just trust me, you will be fine” He said with an awkward smile, like he did not do it  often. “How about you freshen up, lay down and rest” I nodded, making my way up the stairs.

It was quiet, almost too quiet that I had to turn my back to see if he was still there.

He was.

He was watching me walk up the stairs, like he was calculating each step. You can… make yourself comfortable” I mumbled, looking at him, the awkward air finally getting to me.

He nodded. I walked up to my bathroom, shedding my clothes as I made my way into the shower.

I let out a sigh as the cold shower hit my tense shoulder, the tears I had been fighting flowed with the shower.

I bit my tongue, trying to stop the sobs from coming out. When I heard footsteps coming up the stairs.

I froze, my mind rushing through the thousand of reasons why he would be coming up the stairs and then settling on one thought,

He was a pervert.

“Are you comfortable with…” He froze, panic settling in my chest as I realized that I was too much in a daze to remember to shut the door as I had walked into the bathroom just as my eyes met with his.

I gulped, wrapping a protective arm around myself…
