Too Easy

He gulped, but I could very well pick up on his arousal through my magic.

He cleared his throat. Snapping his eyes away as he focused on everything but me. “I… I am sorry, I wanted to ask if you would want some rice, that was all that was in the fridge.” I was quiet, too stunned to even speak so I nodded. It did not matter whether or not I wanted it either ways, I just needed him out of here.

“You might have to speak up I can’t hear you over the…”

“Yes” I cut him off, rushing over to the door and slamming it shut.

I cleared my throat, looking at the walls of the bathroom, feeling as though it was closing in on me.

“I am really messed up” I muttered.

I took a few extra minutes in the bathroom, taking longer time than necessary before left the bathroom.

I changed my clothes, for some reason even looking over my perfume drawer before I shook my head and went out. My steps on the stairs were quiet, like I did not want to startle him or something.

I cleared my throat, not knowing what to say as I made my way to the bottom of the stairs. His head snapped to me, looking at me with wide eyes.

“I made you a plate with what I could find” He said, sliding the plate across the table.

“Thank you” I sat on the chair farthest from him which was not very much if you would ask me.

I looked at the plate in front of me. I blinked, they were all the ingredients in the house but at the same time, it looked like something that I probably had never seen in my life.

“Thank you” I said, picking up the spoon shoving a spoonful into my mouth.

I sighed in satisfaction, still not making eye contact with him.

“You know, for what its worth, I did not see anything” The food went the wrong way immediately after, choking me in an instant.

He stood up, rushing to my side to pat my back. I tried to move away, to get away from the heat that was building down south as he came close to me.

“N-no” I managed to get out. “Get away” I pushed him, the tingles shooting up my spine as I spoke.

He looked taken aback for a moment before he nodded as though understanding. “I would be leaving for now, the trip to the pack and back is around a day. So if I leave now..” he looked at the already darkening sky” I should at least make it back by tomorrow”

I looked at him for a minute, curiosity getting the best of me. The only pack that was that close to us was the moon wood’s pack.

I shook my head. There was no way their Alpha would come all the way to our pack. Most of all, there was no way I was mated to that vile creature.

I had heard his tales. And there was no way.

This sweet and awkward guy could not be him, there was absolutely no way.

He looked at me one last time, giving me that awkward smile again before he took his plate to the sink, washing of his plate.

“I’ll be as quick as possible.” He said to me one last time before turning to leave.

“Hey, if you don’t mind me asking, it might be a bit too late but what if… what if you introduced yourself? I mean its kind of being a jerk not even saying where you are from when you practically know all about me”

“I apologize” his voice was low and velvety, causing the familiar shiver to run down my spine.  “I am Alpha Ronan Keyys” i felt my blood flowing as I looked at him, unable to believe my ears.

“I…” I gulped, not wanting to believe what I was hearing. There was rumoured to be another Alpha from the Keyys family. Maybe… maybe he was the one? 

“From the Moon wood pack” Hee said finally, clearing all doubts. I felt my face go pale as he spoke.

“s-s-s….”

“I will get back to you later” He said, leaving me no time to say any other thing, although the his face showed sadness. Or was I just imagining it?

The door slammed shut, leaving me to my thoughts.

I called THE alpha of the craziest pack a jerk. I thought to myself, trying and failing at not thinking about it.

I gulped, suddenly loosing my appetite,

‘He seemed so calm’ I thought to myself, sweat gathering my forehead as I thought of the rumours where people said he strikes when you least expect it.

I gulped. ‘ was this going to be the end of me?’ i tugged, too panicked to even stand up from my chair to panic.

I looked at the door where he just walked through…

The door slammed open, causing me to jump to my feet. I looked up, expecting to see the man who was going to snap my neck, instead, I saw, Ethan along with some body guards.

“Glad to see you are awake mate.” He smirked, looking at me like he had won something.

I instantly tensed, looking at the fool like he was shit because right now? That was exactly what he was.

“What do you want from me? Is your little toy not good for you anymore?” I stood, looking at the guards who circled me. I watched his face twist in anger before he smiled. This time, it was not one that was so bold

“I came to take what is rightfully mine” he said, taking a step closer. I stretched my hands to him, trying to put a protective barricade between us before I fell down. The shock of trying to do a spell immediately after mating shot through my spine.

I watched as he came closer, looking down at me as I was shaking from the literal shock. “Sometimes, you make it too easy” He said, putting a bag over my face making everywhere dark…
