This meeting was definitely not one I wanted to have anything to do with but again, it was meeting with the school board so I couldn't just skip it.

I sat between Dominic and Zeke, while Asher sat at the far end of the table, away from us. None of us bothered to ask him what was going on.

I mean, for him to randomly chose someone who tried to kill his mate as a bodyguard, it was obvious that there was more at play here.

The board members soon arrived and the meeting began.

My interest was immediately piqued. I had assumed this would be one of their usual boring meetings where they gave missions and drilled up about maintaining the MoonCrest legacy but this was something worth hearing.
