Chapter 11

When the wolves had finally finished eating, they all got up from the table and left the dining hall, leaving us girls to clean up their mess. As he was leaving the dining room, Alpha Cole gave me one last long lingering look. As the beasts left the room, the tension in the room slowly dissipated. I stood and watched as the girls all began to visibly relax. Heidi went and grabbed a couple of cleaning rags and dipped them into a big plastic tub of water. 

Walking over to me, she handed me a cloth and said, "We have to clean the table and each chair."

As I began to wash the chair that Alpha Cole had been sitting in, I noticed that we weren't using any cleaning products, just hot water. I didn't say anything about it though, not wanting to be laughed at again. As if picking up on my thoughts, Heidi said, "We don't use cleaning products here. The werewolves don't like scented soaps.
