I was still standing in the spot where I had ended up, after Beta Chad had dragged me into the office. I was absentmindedly rubbing where Beta Chad had grabbed my arm. These beasts are so rough! At some point they were bound to break bones. I looked up and saw that Alpha Cole's attention was on the paperwork on his desk. Suddenly, he looked up and caught me watching him. The gaze he gave me made my core clench. "What the fuck?" I thought, shocked by my physical response to him.
"Come here," he snapped, pointing his pointer finger to the side of his chair.
Unbelievable! He was commanding me like I was a dog. It seemed like I was nothing more than a bitch to him. It was obvious my life had zero value to him or the members of his pack. To him, I was just like every other girl before me. Well... he was a pathetic excuse of a man as far as I was concerned.

I quietly left Alpha Cole's office, softly closing the door behind me. I was stunned by what had just taken place in there. As I turned away from the door, I caught the sight of one of the beasts down the hallway. It took me a moment to realize he was the same one who had led me up here."Why was he here?" As I sat on my bed I couldn't help but think about what Heidi had said earlier. As a form of punishment the wolves hunted girls.
