Their lips molded together, fitted against one another with stunning perfection. Rosalie had never felt as she did now, exploring the taste of him. Feeling the strength of his arms around her. Inhaling sweat and forest dirt and woodsmoke. His scents. She felt as though she’d found a moment of forever. Like this was how they should’ve always been.

But unfortunately, the moment had ended when Genesis pulled away leaving a string of saliva stretching between their parted lips. They panted unable to process what had just happened, it was different, and although this would’ve been Rosalie’s second kiss, she knew that this wasn’t any normal kiss.

It was gentle but passionate and tense. It was as if they were each other’s breath or each other’s will to see by the way their tongues were desperately caressing against one another. It was out of this world like when she jumped off the cliff, thrilling but deliciously suffocating.
