Chapter Three

Alpha Dennis bounced forward and backward as he wasn't using his seatbelt, he hit his head against the steering wheel and he began to feel dizzy.

He tried to help himself get out of the car but he couldn't, his head hurt and his eyes spun, they saw things in twos, hheennis finally brought his head back on the wheel and laid there, his eyes shut.

The person Dennis tried to avoid hitting was Kelsey. Kelsey saw the car and recognized it immediately, she knew it belonged to the ruthless Alpha, Alpha Dennis. She had heard so much about him but had never had a one on one encounter with him before, she was a human and tried as much as possible to avoid the wolves so she could evade their ridicles and funny stares.

Her jaw dropped, she panicked and blamed herself for causing his accident. Kelsey rushed to the car, she tried to open the door but it was shut, she peeped into the car through the window and saw that he wasn't moving.

She kept trying to open the door but it wasn't opening, she looked around and saw a log of wood, she panted as she carried it. She smashed it in the window and the glass broke. Kelsey dipped her hand into the car and unlocked the door from inside.

She went to the other side and opened it, he still sat there, he wasn't moving and his eyes were shut.

"Oh my God, what have I done", Kelsey mumbled, she was worried about what just happened.

Kelsey was scared that she might have done something to hurt the Alpha, she panted and walked up and down as she was confused about what to do.

"Water", she murmured to herself, "How do I find water now?", she asked herself again, she stood still for a while, she needed water to wake him up but she couldn't think of how to find it. She looked around and saw an almost empty bottle of water by the side of the road, she quickly took it, opened it and sprinkled the water on his face but he wasn't responding.

Kelsey was starting to become uneasy and scared about what was happening, she had been trying her best to wake him but he wasn't responding, she sprinkled the water on him again but he still wasn't responding, his body was still and they weren't moving, his eyes were shut too.

Kelsey panted as she poured the whole water on him, Alpha Dennis shook but his eyes were still shut. Kelsey brought her ears to his chest and she could hear him breathe, she let out a sigh of relief as she was sure she could still do something to wake him up.

She tapped his cheek, "Hey, wake up", she said but that wasn't working either.

She checked the bottle and sprinkeld the little drop left into his nose, he sneezed and opened his eyes slightly.

"Thank Goodness", Kelsey murmured.

Alpha Dennis rubbed his eyes which were still blurry as he woke up, "Goddess", he muttered softly.

Kelsey's eyes widened, she waved in his face to be sure he could see him clearly, "I'm not a goddess,"s replied.

"Goddess," he said again, blinking his eyes countlessly.

"I just said I'm not a goddess, look at me, do I look like one?", Kelsey ranted

Alpha Dennis rubbed his eyes with the back of his hands again and then his eyes cleared, he could then see for himself that he was mistaken, "You?", Dennis said pointing to Kelsey

Kelsey looked at him awkwardly, "Yeah, me. Why?", she asked

"You... you...you are Kendra", Dennis mumbled

Kelsey chuckled, "What?, Kendra?. No, I'm not", she replied with a smile.

Alpha Dennis cleared his throat and sat up, "I.. I've seen you before, I know you from somewhere", he wasn't convinced that he was wrong about her name

"I know you too, you're the alpha, you are, hmmm... you ... you are", Kelsey cranked her eyes so could remember.

"Dennis. And you are Kendra", Dennis responded.

Kelsey laughed but she made sure it wasn't so obvious, "I'm Kelsey, not Kendra," she corrected.

"Oh!, my bad", Dennis said, realizing his mistake.

Dennis pushed the door wide open and stepped out of the car, he wobbled a little and  looked around the car, he  saw there was  a little damage on the car, the window glass was only broken.

"I'm... I'm sorry... I... I caused... I caused everything", Kelsey apologized, "I promise to get it done", she added with her head bent.

Alpha Dennis smiled and walked up to her, "You don't need to be", he replied to her and raised her head, "Keep your head up," he mumbled

"But...but...I caused everything...I...I got in front of your car",  she ranted, "I promise to get it done, I will do whatever I can to repair your car", she pleaded.

Alpha Dennis was interested in the way she talked, he dipped his hands into his pockets and watched her rant, "And what can you do?" Dennis asked.

"Anything", she replied briskly, "Just anything, I can work for you if you want", she added.

Alpha Dennis smiled, he went around the car again and stopped behind her, "Hey", he called, and Kelsey turned to him, "The car is okay, there isn't really any damage", he said.

"But I want to pay you back for the window glass I broke, it's a bit expensive but I will get it I promise", Kelsey insisted.

"It's okay, I don't need a payback," he disagreed.

Kelsey looked into his eyes and stared at him for a while, she wasn't sure if she heard right, everyone knew Dennis as the ruthless and wicked Alpha but she was surprised to see him that way. She was expecting to be in big trouble but he let her off the hook.

"Thank you", Kelsey murmured under her breath.

Alpha Dennis looked at her and nodded, "It's okay", he responded.

Kelsey packed her bag and walked back to the road. Alpha Dennis  started the car and turned to the main road, he stopped beside Kelsey, "Get in, I will drop you home," he said much to Kesley's amazement.

Kelsey stood still and stared at him for minutes, she didn't move an inch. Kelsey wasn't expecting him to do that, she had just gotten him into an accident and she also broke his car window glass, she wasn't expecting him to offer her a ride.

"Shall we?", he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Kelsey looked at him and nodded, she opened the car and got in.
