Celeste is a worrywart single mother who has a phobia about her past catching up on her. Her teenage son, Neil, is growing up so quickly, and at his phase, needs a father figure which she's unable to give to him. Running from her past, she ran into Nathan, a talented chef. A handsome hunk is an ex-marine planning to start his restaurant business putting his wonderful cooking craft into reality in Celeste's hometown. There Neil takes a liking and a fond attachment to Nathan leaving Celeste no choice but to admit there is more than just the chemistry between them and she wants him in her life as a friend, lover, father to her son, and most importantly a life partner. But all seemed impossible when an acquaintance from Celeste's past comes to hunt her putting the lives of the most treasured people in her life in danger. With reassurance, faith, and love Celeste discovers there's more to life than just being uptight and playing hard-to-get. Nathan was one who is made just for her.

TENNathan sat in a bar pallor with his friend, a long-time friend. Timothy. He looked blue. He shouldn’t have gone too far or has he done something wrong. He loved her and he’s really eager to give them a chance. A lifetime. He just hopes Celeste does not let him down. He’ll be shattered.“Hey, Nathan, you’ve been looking blue since I got you from the airport. Woman problem or otherwise.” Timothy asked.Nathan knew Timothy for 5 years of his life and he sure hasn’t change about everything becoming or being a woman’s dilemma. Well he was right he was thinking about a woman. A special woman.“Yeah, I proposed to her but I awaits a response, she’s been bitten once so she’s scared.” He sighed.“Don’t worry, my friend, she would come around if she loves you enough, think positively okay, cheer up.” Timothy smiled. “I have to go now; my wife is going to be getting worried why I’m late. NINEAt the hospital, Celeste, Carly and Neil with two policemen rushed Nathan in. the nurses joined them and placed him on stretcher straight into the theatre room. They excused the policemen and others. The doctor entered the room with the nurses.Few minutes later. Jack, Mr. Trevor and a teenage girl about Neil’s age ran to meet Celeste and Carly sitting across the theatre in the waiting room.“What happened? Where’s Neil?” Jack asked impatiently as he hugged Carly and Celeste. “Are you alright, Celeste?”“Yes, I’m fine, just a bruise on the lips.” Celeste touched the plaster (aid band) on her fore lip.Neil ran to meet Mr. Trevor. “Grandpa!”Mr. Trevor hugged his grandson tight and Jack did the same. Jack rose after hugging Neil. “Where’s Nathan?”“He was shot on the arm and really hurt too.” Neil replied.“Oh…” he saw the girl behind them. “Sharone, you came.” He waved at her.“You know her? she pleaded she pleaded for me to bring her along.”

After a day of teaching, whining and a lot of smiles, Celeste dropped the present (parcel) she had brought for Neil when coming from the school, on the table in the living room. Carly took up the wrapped gift and studied it, curious of what was in the box.“Sis, what’s this? Who is it for?”“It’s a present for Neil. A video game, He loved this when we lived into the city, I happen to see it when coming and I bought it.”“Okay. I’m sure he’ll like it very much.”“Speaking of which, where is he? “It seems it won’t be a bad idea being the latest news in town.” Celeste said after the blissful kiss ended. “I don’t mind at all.” Still held her in his arms. “If the news is associated with you and I in it.”“Neil will be thrilled to hear this, He likes you a lot.”“And I like him too, a courageous boy just like his mom.” He kissed her again. Neither of them saw the Family-Carly, Neil and the old man (Mr. Trevor), standing at the front parlor window, barely concealed by the white lace curtains.“I knew it,” Mr. Trevor crowded. “There’ll be a double summer wedding or I’ll chew my cowboy hat in worries”“Some kisses don’t necessarily make a marriage” Carly said. As she jumped in excitement, giggling.“But this is a miracle, dad. Celeste is in love again”“True,” Mr. Trevor agreed. “They are so bright. After a long day from work, it was 4:29pm, Nathan stood with his jeep at the front of the gate. EVENING. 5:28PMCustomers were leaving early today, Celeste helped with the menu collecting asking for their orders while Nathan did the meals. It was so nice helping out, she wondered how he managed all by himself without a waiter or volunteer. After all the customers exit, Celeste walked to the kitchen, Nathan was washing the dishes. She stood at the door, admiring his posture.His eyes were on the dishes concentrating, he seems to love his cooking art job a lot unlike being a marine. As she tried to move closer to the kitchen.
