CHAPTER 15
It has become a usual thing spending most of my nights and days in Lucas's penthouse. And he is a full blown workaholic which I'm getting used to.
I was upstairs in his bedroom watching Netflix and waiting for him as usual while he was in the second floor in his office working.After dinner he had said he'll go get some work done and be up in an hour, and it has been 3 hours and I'm officially tired of waiting so I put on a robe and go to his office.I headed downstairs and toward Lucas's office. I knocked, and I waited for him to call me in. He opened the door without a word. His cool eyes slid over my body. I wondered if he could tell that I was naked beneath the thin material of my bathrobe.
"Can I come in?"He stepped back and I walked in. I could hear the door close and then Lucas strode past me and turned to me with an inquiring expression. "What's going on?"

Inside the limo I seat at the far end of the door avoiding him and looking out the city, I was still mad at him.He sensed that and tried to hold my hand in his which I quickly pulled away.If he doesn't acknowledge how he hurt me and apologizes I will continue to ignore him.We drive to my apartment and park right outside, I don't wait for him or the driver to go out and open my door. It has been 2 weeks since Lucas left, I haven't heard from him and I knew I wasn't going to but I hoped I would.I had started my new job last week which I got a flower delivery from Lucas congratulating me but when I asked when the flower delivery company when they were ordered for me they said it was weeks before Lucas left.Ari was back from New York and was meeting me for lunch. It is finally Monday, my appointment at the doctors office is in 30 minutes. Lucas had called and asked the time early this morning, he wasn't even in L.A why was he asking.I arrived at the doctors office 10 minutes before my appointment, and I was surprised to see Lucas was already waiting for me in the waiting room.He walks to me immediately he sees me, standing few feet's apart. Everything was going on perfectly, my mom and Ari helped me move officially into the Alvarado manor two weeks ago.And I have to say I love it here, the full staff just for needs, Lucas has been amazing making sure I'm comfortable and I have everything I need.
