CHAPTER THIRTEEN

George’s frustration grew and he pounded on the door, his voice filled with anger but still Lisa didn’t open the door. He left for his room angrily.

The next morning, Lisa woke up feeling determined. She got dressed and prepared a delicious breakfast for herself. As she sat down to enjoy her meal, George walked down the stairs and made his way to the dining to have breakfast.

Lisa, taking a deep breath, mustered up the courage to talk to George about what he is doing to her, how he is making her life miserable maybe he will pity her and stop because she’s seriously tired of how George is treating her.

“George, can we talk for a moment? There is something I would like to discuss with you.” She said calmly and scared hoping he would reply to her. George just nodded without even glancing at her.
