It has been a few months since the whole ordeal happened. Amanda was put to jail for attempted homicide, which gave Lee and his family the closure they wanted to. And while Simon’s father already gave up on setting up his son in marriages with other women, he still hasn’t given his approval on Simon and Hans’ relationship. But that obviously did not stop the two, who started living together after they decided they cannot spend a day away from each other.

That morning was Hans’ birthday, and he woke up at the sound of Simon singing ‘Happy birthday’ while holding a cake with four long candles that are lit up.

“What the heck?” Hans commented as he chuckled.

“Good morning, love…” Simon greeted him sweetly, “Happy birthday.”

Hans smiled as he looked at the cake. “This is so romantic it doesn’t suit me, but thank you. And I love you, Simon.”
