A beat passed and he opened his arms, inviting me to hug him. He smiled a warm, shy smile. It was the very first time I saw Vince's shy smile, and it made my heart melt.
His dark eyes met mine and I could tell there was a raw emotion brimming the surface. I knew my eyes were a reflection of his at that moment.
Willingly, I complied and fell into his arms. It just felt so right, to be in the comfort of his embrace. Even though we were both sweaty and definitely exhausted, to say the least, I was grateful for his support.
It felt so right, comfortable like the feel of a home. The combination of the scent of him and his cologne created a deliciously eclectic mix that I was slowly getting accustomed to.
