Owner of Emer's Blood

The sound of the gurgling waterfall was very tempting in his ears. The woman smiled happily when, after a long journey around the forest, the woman could find the sound of a waterfall. Rula Vivian Sterne, a twenty-five-year-old woman, is on her way to the Rumbio Forest to reach the top of the hill, where her campus will be holding its annual camp.

An unfortunate tragedy separated Rula from her group of friends from her faculty. Rula looked for a way to the top of the hill, armed with confidence her feet kept treading until it felt like Rula's body was so tired. Rula added more power to soon arrive at the sound of a waterfall, Rula had run out of water supply. The woman looked up for a moment, Oneda City should be in summer, why hasn't Rula seen the sun over her head since recently?

Rula is getting worried when the night gets late, and Rula still hasn't found a gathering point for the students. Rula is afraid of the dark, not to mention that there is no signal for Rula to ask someone else for help to find her current position. The woman took a deep breath, and in her heart, Rula prayed asking that she be given safety.

“Oh shit!” Rula cursed.

Unknowingly Rula's foot stepped on a piece of wood so sharp that it scratched Rula's soles. The woman opened her shoes, not expecting the latest expensive shoes from a well-known brand to be torn apart by a piece of wood so easily. Feeling tired, Rula grabbed the broken piece of wood with annoyance inside her.

Rula was running out of energy, instead, she had to endure the wound on her leg like this. I don't know how far Rula's feet will go, hopefully, after wetting her throat with water, Rula will have additional energy to look for the whereabouts of her other friends. Rula got back up, the woman didn't care about the bloodstains left on the pieces of wood and some dry leaves that Rula used to wipe her fresh blood.

“Anyone, did someone hear my screams?” Rula shouted.

Not someone, but Rula instead heard several birds flying because they were surprised to hear Rula's voice. The woman took another deep breath.

"You damn bird, just watch if I starve, I'll burn you here!" said Rula with annoyance.

The brown eyes twinkled happily, in front of his eyes there was a waterfall with water flowing swiftly. Rula jogged, and her injured right leg was unable for Rula to run fast toward the water source. The woman can't wait to feel the freshness of water from nature.

"Finally, I can taste water after a full day of sweat pouring out!" exclaimed Rula.

Without waiting for a long time, Rula opened her backpack and took out a mineral water bottle for her to fill up. Previously, Rula filled her drinking water bottle for her to sip slowly, Rula felt the freshness of natural water could bring back the spirit within her which had been lost by fatigue. Rula quenched her thirst before the woman filled her water bottle full.

Rula washed her face, trying to eliminate the fatigue and sleepiness the woman was feeling. However, Rula's movement stopped, and the woman heard the sound of a dry branch being stepped on by someone, or maybe a wild animal that might be living freely roaming in the Rumbio Forest. Unfortunately, Rula did not find out more about life in the Rumbio Forest.

Rula's head turned right and left to find the source of the sound, but apparently, Rula didn't find any animal or person there.

"Who is there?" asked Rula shouting back.

At that moment a white rabbit ran, Rula breathed a sigh of relief when she saw a rabbit making a sound.

The pain Rula felt in her feet made the caramel-haired woman take off her shoes again. Rula put her foot into the waterfall, the woman thought that the wound on her leg could be cleaned and fresh blood would stop coming out of the wound soon. Unknowingly Rula's tears fell, it had been a long time since Rula had not been hurt like now.

The woman remembered the last time Rula fell off her bicycle when she was avoiding a bump. At that time, Rula's parents panicked and never allowed Rula to use the bicycle again. As the youngest of two siblings, of course, Rula was treated like a princess in the Sterne Family.

"Mama," Rula whispered, remembering her mother.

Rula didn't realize, there were many pairs of eyes stalking the woman. Her red eyes flashed, they sniffed out the scent of fresh blood from the wound on Rula's leg.

"After waiting for three hundred years, the vampire nation has finally found the sacred blood of immortality," he said, smiling triumphantly.

Emer's blood is the sacred blood of immortality, in which in one century only one woman with the sacred blood of immortality will be born. The sacred blood of immortality smelled when its owner turned twenty-five years old. A quarter of a century, that's what the vampires say.

Waiting for the birth of the owner of Emer's blood is certainly very upsetting. Not many of them had to sleep long to conserve their strength in fighting for emer's blood. There are so many vampires with several different members, they have the same goal, namely to become a global vampire leader and make all the vampire herds under him loyal followers.

“This is the right time to make our clan the strongest dynasty in the vampire nation,” said one of them.

“Eldest brother will be very happy if we get that woman,” replied the other brother.

“Dom, come on,” said his older sister, named Casey.

The three of them belonged to the Heafen family. Among the other vampire dynasties, the Heafen Family is famous for being the most powerful and very dominating the other dynasties. But all of that couldn't make the Heafen the next leader if they couldn't obtain Emer's blood.

A sound like bats flying above Rula made the woman look up at the source of the sound. Rula knit her eyebrows curiously, what would make the bat roam around Rula? Whereas previously there was no visible activity of the bats. Rula now lifted her head, the sky was already getting dark, and the woman no longer saw the sunlight from the sky.

No wonder the bats were closing in around Rula.

“Sorry, but I don't have any food to share with you guys. Isn't there a lot of fruit in this forest that you can eat straight from the tree?” concluded Rula so innocently.

The woman didn't seem to realize that her life was on alert. The woman put the bottle of mineral water back into her bag. Luckily, Rula still had a small box of facial tissue in her bag that she could use as a shoe base to stop the bleeding on her feet. The emer blood that was sticking out of Rula's body had invited the vampire clan to come closer to her.

Rula's age has entered a quarter of a century, Rula's scent spreads the sweet scent of Emer Blood so that it can attract the attention of many vampire flocks from their various dynasties. As Rula started walking again, she couldn't possibly spend the night by the waterfall, or else she could fall prey to the wild beasts that roamed the night.

As long as Rula's feet stepped, the woman seemed to realize that several bats were flying above Rula's steps. Rula didn't care, she was trying to have positive thoughts.

'Maybe it's time for the bats to look for food,' thought Rula assuring the situation nearby.

Until suddenly a hand touched Rula's backpack. It also sounded like a large wing had just landed, plus the wind was moving swiftly around Rula. The woman stopped her steps at this moment. Rula's heartbeat pounded like a drum about to battle. Rula felt the hairs on her neck stand up, Rula wanted to look back but Rula didn't dare to do it.

The sound of chuckling behind Rula finally made Rula think, there is a possibility that it was Rula's friends who found Rula.

"Why did you only find me now?" Rula asked turning around.

It turned out that it wasn't Rula's friends that he met, but two men and one woman were looking at Rula with interest. Rula felt strange with the expressions on the faces of the three humans in front of her, their skin looked pale, and their lips even looked black. The alarm in Rula's head immediately went off reminding Rula that she was now in the forest.

Forest, there are so many animals and plants are there. Not to mention the horror and mystical stories that certainly adorn life in the forest. Rula immediately stepped back.

“We are also very sorry that we have only found you now, O lady of the Emer Blood,” said Barra, the second son of the Heafen clan.

“Who are you three? I've never met you three before," Rula replied confusedly.

"We are the clan that has been waiting to meet you for three hundred years," explained Dom, the youngest son of the Heafen clan approached Rula.

Barra, Dom, and Casey, who are the only daughters of the Heafen clan, sniff Rula's scent. They instead crouched in front of Rula, approaching Rula's previously injured right leg. Immediately Rula retreated backward, Rula felt that something was wrong that she was currently facing.

It was possible that the three people in front of him were not human. Rula must flee from the presence of these three freaks, or her life could be in danger. Rula ran as hard as she could, not caring if the wound on her leg would continue to open and bleed fresh again. Rula just wants to save herself from the black-lipped freaks she encounters.

Rula's tears flowed profusely, Rula didn't know where else her feet would go. Rula wanted to go back home, she didn't want to be in that scary forest without any normal human she could turn to for help. Rula's heart rate raced faster as Rula heard the sound of a wolf barking one after another filling Rula's ears.

"Wolf? Good grief, what other danger am I facing now?” Rula softly clenched her fists, with tears running down her cheeks.

Rula didn't look back, the woman kept running without caring that her right leg was bleeding profusely. The woman fell down, Rula tried to get up but her legs really hurt for her to force her back up right now.

"Stop running, or your blood will lure them toward you!"

The baritone voice surprised Rula. Who else now? Rula's life almost left her body when the sound came from in front of Rula. The woman raised her eyes, she saw a handsome man with sea-blue eyes observing Rula deeply.

"Jenia," the boy called softly.

“What to the hell? Who do you call Jenia?” Rula shook her head.

“You, Jenia,” said the man confusedly.

Rula studied the man in front of her intensely, from head to toe. Wait a minute, after meeting a demon, now Rula meets a man dressed strangely like an ancient primitive man?
