Chapter ten: Let's be friends.

"Why the urgent meeting Tunji? I'm not exactly less busy, you know," I nagged as soon as I walked into my cousin's office.

"Good afternoon to you too, cousin," he replied sarcastically and I rolled my eyes.

"Let's drop the courtesy and get to the point, I don't have all day," I demanded hastily.

"You're an awfully rude young lady but since it's a permanent trait, I'll ignore it," he said and I frowned but decided against firing back.

"I called you here because I have both good and bad news for you. Earlier today, I got a call from Mr Johnson's assistant and he informed me that Mr Johnson requested an attorney change and he wants you to take over the case," he told me, expecting a quick reaction but instead I urged him to go on.

"So what's the good news?" I asked when he wouldn't continue.

"Are you serious Tayo? Was what I just told you not good news? Imagine you win this case and actually get Chief Onuh out of their way, do you know how popular you're going to
