Twenty Four

Laying in my bed, my eyes felt heavy from our day of training, searching for my other guardians. Every limb felt heavy and sore. My shoulders are on fire from pushing myself too hard. My wings didn’t feel as heavy anymore. I was getting used to them now. Still, I wish I could just blink like I used to. But apparently, that’s a power I get back after I find my generals or at least my lieutenant generals. This was harder than I thought it was going to be. If it weren’t for Michael teaching me how to control and use what little power I had, I’d be lost. I felt fragile, weak, I felt very much human. My senses dulled by the lack of power flowing through me. I’m still stronger than 100 men. But as far as gods go, I was a newborn babe. Ughhhhhhhh why can’t I just fall to sleep? Where was Michael? I’d become dependent on Michael, he is my calm. I feel safer when he’s around he puts my fried nerves at ease. I started to finally drift off to sleep my thoughts going mute.
