8. Confronting her fears: her first torture

Immediately after I left, an image of what I did flashed in my head.

Back in the villa, when I stood up to confront him, I stealthily planted an audio recorder beneath the table where Arturo was sitting.

I couldn't stand by and watch him make fun of me. I listened to the recording through the airpod in my ear, and found out where Arturo's brother was going.

I signaled my men, Kale, Zik, Harris, and Bena, about the development.

When we got in the car, we tracked him down and caught him.

"Get out! How dare you! You don't know who I am!" he roared in anger, struggling hard as we threw him into the trunk.

"Take him to the basement. You know where. Then wait for me," I ordered the boys.

"But, alpha, how will you get home? You can't just walk, and it's dangerous," Kale said, sounding concerned.

I smiled and shook my head. "Don't worry. Beta John will come and pick me up. You just make sure he doesn't escape, and be careful. You know how sneaky he is."
