Vanessa's POV

My butt started to go numb as I sat down for what felt like forever, getting my makeup perfected by one of my best friends, Lizzie.

"Tell me why I'm doing this again, I have a ton of homework I should be doing instead of heading out on the streets with you two," I huffed, breathing out deeply.

She rolled her eyes."It's Saturday you can do your homework tomorrow, and besides, it's Micah's birthday."

I sighed at her comment and tried to keep still so she wouldn't 'accidentally' poke out my eye.

To be honest I don't understand the thrill of going out, getting drunk, being arrested, and possibly catching an STD. I'd rather stay home enjoy a nice hot cup of cocoa and watch goosebumps.

"Ow!" I flinched as she plucked my eyebrow. Lizzie smiled sheepishly at me and gave me an apologetic look.

A door busted open interrupting my inner thoughts that wanted to strangle her, "Hey guys, your leader has arrived" Micah came through the door looking flawless as usual.

His skin was glowing and moist making it look as if he had on makeup. Micah doesn't wear makeup though, it doesn't suit him.

He had on a black see-through shirt, which was opened to show his small yet muscular chest.

"Are you guys ready" He questioned, making himself at home on my already junky bed.

"Almost done!" Lizzie let out, plucking another hair from my eyebrow, earning another wrenching sound from my mouth.

"So Mikey how are we going to get in anyway, Lizzie and I are still 18," I asked him.

"I got us some fake IDs," He said excitingly. Rolling my eyes at them I say, "I don't know how I became friends with such rebels"

"You know you love us," they both said in sync.

I smoothed out my v-neck white bodycon dress and shook my head at the pair my curls bouncing around me.

"Sure," I said, holding down my churning stomach which gave me a bad feeling.

As we entered the club the resounding music filled my ears and the neon lights shined on our faces.

Mikey and Lizzie dragged me toward the bar.

The bartender came over and asked: "What can I get you?"

"Water" I responded awkwardly as my best friends ordered their drinks.

The bartender looked at me weirdly.

"Are you sure-"

"She's just kidding, we'll get 6 vodka shots" Lizzie glared at me.

"Lizzie, you know I don't like to drink" I squinted my eyes at her and pursed my lips, watching the bartender pour my drinks,"

 "I know, I know but maybe just for tonight you'll have fun."

As the drinks arrived both Lizzie and Mikey quickly down theirs, and I hesitantly picked up one of mine.

I scrunched up my face at the strong scent that wafted to my nose, they both watched me patiently.

Deciding to get it over with it took the shot in a swift motion.

I felt a burning sensation in my chest as the liquor went down my throat.

"This.... isn't half bad," I let out as my friends watched me.

I took the other shot and ordered two more, soon enough I started to feel the buzz of the shots as my body started getting heavy. After chatting at the bar for a while we went onto the dance floor and we started partying the night away.

As I danced I didn't realize that my friends weren't near me anymore. It didn't stop me from enjoying myself though.

Until I felt two strong, rough hands on my waist. I let the music move my body as I danced. The song switched from 'Cheap Thrills' to something slower and more sensual.

I couldn't tell if it was the alcohol in me that compelled me to grind on the body behind me.

He pulled me closer to him.

"You're playing a dangerous game, love" He whispered lowly.

I shivered at the sound of his voice.

I turned around to the gorgeous face before me.

He had black hair that was falling over his striking gray eyes, a jawline so define it looked ready to cut.

He wore a white dress shirt, unbuttoned at the top to reveal a bit of his chiseled chest, his long sleeves cuffed to right below his elbows.

"What's your name, handsome" I purred, the liquor getting to me.

"Demetrius" He answered.

"No last name?" I questioned and he only chuckled.

"What about you?" He asked.

"Vanessa" I answered.

"No last name?" He mocked which made me giggle.

After a while, I made my way back to the bar and got a few more shots of vodka.

Demetrius appeared behind me, I looked up at him.

"Let's take this party else where, yeah?"

"What did you have in mind" I hummed.

He smirked at me and took my hand, leading me out of the music-filled club.
