“i’m sorry I already threw your old clothes out, they were filthy and torn I didn’t think you’d need them anymore.”

I sighed. “it’s okay, I guess it was for the better.” At least I won’t have it around to remind me of Gary or that cursed day and what happened, it’s time for me to move on and forget about the life I had in Little Rock, i’m sure May and Liam would understand. I missed my friends terribly but there's nothing I can do about it.

“i brought you some of my daughter's clothes to use for now, she’s about your age and size if i’m not mistaken.” Betsy said and i was sceptical but she simply waved me off. “don’t worry, Cherry was happy for you to have them. Besides she doesn't wear them any more.”

“thank you Betsy.” I said taking the clothes from her.

“i can’t wait for you to meet Cherry you two will hit it off i’m sure of it.”

“sure why not.” At least there's someone my age I can hang out with while i’m here.
