Rory put Eren to bed after his bath that evening and then immediately went to bed. She didn't have time to talk to Caroline.

She followed the specific rule that stated they were not permitted to wander the house after the young master went to bed.

As she cocked her head toward the table, she sighed. She reached for the novel she had started but hadn't finished. A smile spread across her face as her hand traced the title that was written on the front cover.
