"Hey Rookie! My office now!" Emily remarked as soon as Mason entered through the door. She had noticed that he had seen her, but he continued to walk with his eyes fixed ahead, as if he hadn't noticed her waiting outside the hospital entrance as he entered.

Mason suddenly came to a stop in his tracks and turned to face Emily. What had he done to make her call him into her office? Was it about last night? Emily walked by him, jiggling her ponytail behind her as she moved. From the clothes she was wearing, Mason had also deduced that she had just arrived at the hospital. He trailed behind her.
