Chapter 58 – Transition

Aside from setting up her café, when her baby bump began to show, their dates included going to the mall and shopping for baby clothes and toys. Klyde has begun setting up a room as nursery. They’ve chosen the crib, all other pieces of furniture that would be inside it, and the decorations.

When Mel is bored at home, she would go to that room and play with the toys herself. She’s already imagining a kid babbling at her. Her imagination is good. She could entertain herself for a good amount of time.

Her friend, Lily, would sometimes visit her at home. Given how she’s busy at work and Mel has dates with her husband on Saturdays, it’s not easy to meet up. They both had to rest during Sundays, to prepare for another week. They still chat frequently, though. Her relationship with her boyfriend seemed steady. Cedrik’s now working on a personal project. As soon as he deemed it to be viable, he planned to seek investors out.
