Chapter Twelve

Valerie stomped her feet on the ground striding towards the door as the doorbell rang. She scoffed as her eyes fell on the wall clock, it was late in the night. Valerie hated late night visitors. She lived alone ever since her roommate got married and moved across the country. Now she was living alone in her condo.

Reaching the door, she yanked the door wide open exposing a delivery man. She arched up her brow at the unfamiliar man. He wasn't the same delivery man that came around yesterday or has been coming around rather frequently but she hadn't paid any attention to them. Valerie wasn't like Lisa. She talked a bit too much and wasn't a calculative or smart woman. The only thing she was good at was fashion, business and men.
