who's there?

Dave returns to his office and is welcomed by an empty sofa staring at him. He pauses for a moment before closing the door and heads straight to the restroom door.

"I'm back, dear wife," he said over his voice patiently waiting for a response but none came.

"Won't you dash me your warm and sweet hugs? I miss you already" he adds, walks to his desk and leans against it, hands wrapped over his chest as he patiently waits for her to emerge from behind the door.

But after a long time of waiting, no one came out. His usual calm face darkness, and concern could be seen on his face.

He pushes himself off the desk and heads to the door, he stops when he is a step away. He knocks on the door

"Stop hiding, come out now" he urges, still believing she's inside.

"Hide and seek huh? I doubt if you would love it" he mutters under his breath, reaches for the door and opens it.

He was surprised to see the room empty, a frown settled on his face. He wonders where she might have gone off to.

His legs ca
