As I gaze at the cold metal door of this basement, my tears flow down my cheeks. This has become familiar to me as I have grown accustomed to this type of imprisonment. However, tonight was particularly difficult as I had not seen my grandmother in a month. I yearn to speak with her and check on her well-being. I hope she is doing well.

I wiped my tears when I heard the door. Someone is trying to open it up. I stood up, and my heart started to palpitate. Then the door opened. It was my brother, Gary.
