"Forgive me, my kids..."

Those words echoed deep inside their ears, penetrating into their minds. There was a slight pinch that Arjun had felt.

Did he hear it right? The old man who had been blaming him for every wrong in their lives was actually asking for his forgiveness...!

Arjun and Sonia gaped at each other in incredulity. They never anticipated that they would hear this in their entire life.

Where did the hatred go?

Why was Grandfather suddenly asking for their forgiveness?

Sonia panicked if grandfather had lost his memories or his sanity because of her treatment, but soon she understood that it was true as the old man grabbed her hands and a tear drop left the corner if his eye.

He was regretting everything. And it evident in his blurry eyes and everything that was going on was true not just their imagination.

What happened in these past days? Why was the old man acting so weird? She wondered in her mind, though no words rolled out of her mouth.
