Chapter 7: The Wedding

"Miss Sanders, the wedding will start in two minutes," a woman said to me. I nodded and gave a small smile.

Everything happened so quickly. It feels like just yesterday when all of this happened. I never imagined I'd be getting married today.

Although it's not my dream wedding, I wish my parents were still alive to see this.

"Mother, Father, your only child is getting married now," I whispered, biting my inner lip to hold back tears. I miss them terribly.

I lost myself for a moment. Why am I crying? I shouldn't be; it'll ruin my makeup.

"Sofia Sanders?" I heard a gentle voice beside me. A blonde girl is standing there.

I raised an eyebrow. Who is she? She's not the same woman who informed me earlier.

"Yes, it's me," I confirmed. She nodded, "I'm Christy, your bridesmaid," she introduced herself.
