Sofia's POV

“Sofia,” he called me again. I didn't respond as the doctors kept checking me and saying words. After that, they went out.

I remember everything now. It was me who had amnesia, and I didn't remember Marcus and my past.

I looked at Mom, and she went in front of me while Marcus gave him space.

He sat on the chair while looking at me.

“Sofia Darling, I'm worried,” she started crying, and I held her hand.

“Mom,” I uttered, and I felt weak.

“The doctor said you have to rest, and we should not let you speak for a long time, darling,” she said and caressed my hair.

“You've been here for almost a month, Sofia,” I looked at her, and she seemed surprised by the words she uttered.
