“Hey!” Aria called and threw a slice of bread towards her brother who was seated across the huge dining table.

Aiden ducked it, and the bread hit the maid standing behind him.

“You missed me.” he laughed at Aria.

“Sir, ma’am, please don't play with your food.” The maid said but they ignored her. She looked at the other maids in the dining room, and they shrugged at her. They had no idea what to do either.

Aiden was about to throw his food at his sister when Alessa walked into the dining room.

He dropped it immediately and smiled at her.

“Good morning.” They chorused.

Alessa smiled at them as she took a seat, and one of the maids started to dish her meal.

“Mummy, where are you going?” Aria asked, noticing she was dressed. Aiden also stared at her clothes.

“You look beautiful, Mum.” Aiden completed. Alesssa felt her heart flutter.

“Thank you, Aiden. Aria, I am going for a business meeting and I will be back before evening.” Alessa replied.
